Talent Insights is partnering with a Government agency for a Senior Customer IAM Engineer for a 12 month contract with view to 24 months.

This position is within a team leading the design, implementation, and optimization of a major customer identity and access management (CIAM) project within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, the Senior Customer IAM Engineer ensures that the CIAM solution aligns with security standards, compliance regulations, and the core purpose of the business.

Requirements include:
  • Help lead the implementation, and optimization of a major customer identity and access management (CIAM) project, focusing on external and customer user registration, authentication, authorization, and user profile management.
  • Work independently on competing and often urgent tasks to achieve agency CIAM outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective CIAM configurations.
  • Configure and manage CIAM features, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and security best practices.
  • Optimize the CIAM solution for scalability, performance, and user experience, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Prioritize building automations and integrations to enhance CIAM capabilities and streamline user interactions.

We are looking for Australian Citizens either with NV1 Clearance or Baseline.

Experience for this role includes:

* Experience with CIAM products like Auth0, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping, Akamai or equivalent
* Experience in designing or implementing in Azure or AWS
* Experience and expertise in designing, implementing, and optimising customer identity and access management solutions
