Process Improvement Project Manager
Networks | Business Improvement | Sydney or Melbourne | 12 month daily rate contract
A large enterprise telecommunications environment is seeking a Process Improvement Project Manager to lead business process optimisation initiatives across its Networks portfolio.
This is broader than a traditional project management role. The focus is structured improvement, Lean methodology and driving measurable operational uplift across complex technical domains.
The Role You will lead domain-level improvement initiatives across Networks, partnering closely with engineering and technical teams to identify inefficiencies and implement sustainable change.
Key areas of focus include: - Waste reduction and Lean-led optimisation
- End-to-end process redesign across Networks operations
- Driving improvements across OSS toolsets
- Supporting ServiceNow-related initiatives
- Enabling system and automation uplift driven by process redesign
- Managing cross-functional stakeholders within a matrix environment
You will work closely with a central Process Centre of Excellence, while remaining accountable for delivering improvement outcomes within the Networks delivery function.
About You You are an experienced improvement-focused delivery professional who:
- Has led large-scale process improvement initiatives
- Brings strong Lean methodology capability
- Holds Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred but not essential)
- Is comfortable working with engineering and technical stakeholders
- Can operate confidently in complex, domain-level change environments
- Focuses on measurable outcomes, not just project governance
