$850-1050 a day including super DOE
  
All candidates must hold Australian Citizenship and must be eligible for NV1 clearance
  
Platform Engineer ( AWS / Terraform / Docker ) is required to join a leading Australian Government Agency that help to give back to the Australian community.
The Platform Engineer ( AWS / Terraform / Docker is responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting the companies Cloud & Data Infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, managing complex problem-solving tasks, and providing senior-level advice. The Engineer will work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes within an agile framework.
  
Key Responsibilities for the Platform Engineer ( AWS / Terraform / Docker ) include :

• Design, build, deploy, and support cloud and data infrastructure.
• Prioritize tasks and manage work queues.
• Ensure solutions follow integration best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and achieve business outcomes.
• Represent the company in internal and external stakeholder forums.

  
Essential Criteria for the Platform Engineer ( AWS / Terraform / Docker ) include :

1. Extensive hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
2. Proven experience with DevOps tools and continuous delivery pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Artifactory, Jira).
3. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
4. Strong knowledge of version control systems like Git and agile methodologies.
5. Proficiency in coding with Python, JavaScript, and Golang.
6. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
