Master Data Co-ordinator

- 3 month initial contract

Talent Insights are partnered with a leading Australian telco, looking for an experienced Master Data Co-ordinator to join their Procurement Operations team.

You'll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of vendor and material master data across the organisation, supporting procurement operations and working closely with Procurement, Finance and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate, compliant and efficient master data processes.

You'll also contribute to process improvements, supplier onboarding and ongoing system enhancements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining data quality, stakeholder engagement and operational excellence within a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain vendor and material master data across SAP and procurement platforms
  • Create, update and validate vendor records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Support supplier onboarding and ongoing vendor maintenance
  • Complete quality assurance checks and regular data audits
  • Work closely with Procurement, Finance and Supply Chain stakeholders
  • Support UAT and procurement system improvements
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate master data processes
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding master data enquiries.
About you:
  • 3-5 years' experience maintaining SAP S/4HANA Vendor and Material Master Data
  • Experience working within a large enterprise environment
  • Exposure to Source-to-Pay platforms such as SAP, Ivalua, Coupa or Icertis
  • Understanding of procurement and category management principles
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to MDO tools is advantageous.
