Credit Data Analyst Location: Sydney or Melbourne

Join a high-performing Credit Risk and Billing function within one of Australia’s leading telecommunications organisations, supporting major uplift projects across credit, collections, and hardship analytics.
You’ll develop data assets, dashboards, and predictive models that strengthen compliance, reduce bad debt, and improve customer outcomes across the full credit lifecycle - from onboarding through to collections.
Key responsibilities - Build and automate reports and dashboards that provide visibility across credit, billing, and collections performance.
- Translate business policies and risk controls into clear data logic and analytics frameworks.
- Partner with stakeholders across Credit, Finance, and Risk to identify insights, trends, and process improvements.
- Deliver predictive analytics to help identify customers at risk of hardship or default.
Skills & experience - Proven experience in credit risk, billing, or collections analytics (essential)
- Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, or Alteryx.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and data storytelling capability.
- Background in analytics, finance, or risk-related environments.
