Business Analyst – Credit & Collections Optimisation

12-Month Daily Rate Contract | Melbourne | Telecommunications

Talent Insights are engaged with a telecommunications client to appoint a Business Analyst within their Credit & Collections function.

This role sits within an optimisation-focused portfolio, supporting improvements across collections processes while ensuring alignment with relevant regulatory and compliance obligations.

The Role

You will partner with operational, risk and technology stakeholders to:
  • Gather and document business requirements across collections initiatives
  • Map and analyse end-to-end collections processes
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical process improvements
  • Support the development of data-driven strategies for overdue payment recovery
  • Ensure collections workflows align with regulatory and compliance standards
This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable operating across operations and compliance in a structured, regulated environment.

About You

You will bring:
  • Experience within Credit & Collections (telco preferred but not essential)
  • Strong requirements gathering and process mapping capability
  • Solid understanding of regulatory considerations within collections
  • Analytical capability across financial and operational data
  • Proficiency in Excel, JIRA and Confluence (FIGMA beneficial)
