BI Analyst – Data & Visualisation (Daily rate contract)

Location: Sydney (Hybrid)

Start date: Before Christmas shutdown

We’re looking for a BI Analyst - Data & Visualisation to design, build, and deliver high-quality dashboards, support ETL processes, and help drive data-informed decision-making across a well known Australian organisation.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to turn business questions into insightful analysis and play a key role in improving the client's BI ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
• Analyse large datasets to uncover trends and actionable insights.
• Resolve data quality issues and enhance dashboard performance.
• Support and maintain ETL workflows and collaborate with data engineers.
• Translate business requirements into effective analytics solutions.
• Optimise data models, queries, and visualisations across BI platforms.
• Deliver end-to-end reporting projects and present findings clearly to stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong SQL skills; familiarity with DAX, MDX, or Python is a plus.
• Experience working with platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or SQL Server.
• Ability to design or support ETL pipelines and data preparation workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
